Can Mucus And Blood In An Infant’s Stool Be Due To Formula Milk?

I have 7 weeks old daughter. At times After 6 weeks I started giving her Nan pro 1 at night. After her first vaccination of DPT with others I gave her Nan pro 1 2 -3 times. After this I noticed some drops of blood with mucus in her stool. I stopped Nan pro 1 n kept her only on breast feed. Slowly it reduced in 3 days. Is she allergic to formula milk..?? What is substitute of Nan pro in this case. Or this is milk allergy or something else Please help me with this issue..

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As the breast milk is not pausing any issues, there is no allergy to milk but allergy or sensitivity to milk formula as Nan pro 1. I would recommend to continue breast feeding at present and let her intestine take time to develop adequate digestive power later on to digest milk formula.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
