Can Muscle Strain Cause Aching Right-sided Pain Near The Rib Cage?
Hi, thanks! I have had a dull aching pain on my rt side by the rib cage for weeks. Wondered if it was just muscle strain or something else. I do have chronic kidney disease stage 4A but the pain is not coming from the back. I personal train 2x a week, it just doesn t seem to be going away. It especially hurts when I am rising from a sitting or lying position.
I went through your details. As the pain is present for weeks, you should wait for investigation. Right underside rib pain could be due to many factors but the most prominent causes could be acidity, constipation or muscular cramps. Other areas could be gall bladder, spleen, ureter problems and of course liver problems. Do consult your doctor.
