General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
The following things can be inferred from the ultrasound abdomen report you have shared.
1. There is a single live fetus, which is lying obliquely and having its position with head down. This type of presentation can be considered as normal.
2. Fetal heart rate is within normal range.
3. Fetal biometry is indicating that the pregnancy is around 35 - 36 weeks, corresponding to the appropriate gestational age.
4. Fetal weight estimated by ultrasound is 2.59 kgs and fluid surrounding the fetus is normal.
5. Placenta is towards the upper segment and back side of uterus, which is normal and maturation appears to be alright.
Hence, the report can be considered as normal, with about another 4 weeks to go for full term. Kindly plan for the better outcome on consultation with your Gynecologist.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
