Can Nadolol Be Taken To Bring BP Down?

My mother went into heart block after years of a-fib and a continuous dose of dilitiazem 240mg. QD & nadalol 40 mg. QD. She stayed in the Chest Pain Unit under observation as her above meds were d/c d. Now her HR is 81 and her diastolic B/P 100. Should she take 20mg of nadalol to bring her B/P down?

Dear sir

Nodolol - Drug belongs to group of cardio selective betablockers. which acts by reducing heart rate and relaxation of vascular smooth muscles.

The blood pressure reduction capacity of nodolol is low when compared to other conventional drugs because betablockers are not known to effectively control down the blood pressure.

Thanks
