Can Nerve Damage During Surgery Cause Shivers?

Hello, I am a female Hispanic 28 years of age, 5'8, 148lbs,

For the past 4-5 months my left hand shakes a little but not nearly as much as my right.

This happens from time to time, not everyday are the shakes bad, but two days ago when holding glass of water in front of me my right hand was shaking a lot and my left slightly. Any ideas?

ps... I had surgery when I was 22 years old in my right bicep due to a tumor (benign) that was growing from the nerve, I noticed I had very slight nerve damage and I was told this would happen. would this have anything to do with the shaking?
