Can Nose Injury Cause Breathing Problem And Faster Heart Beats?

Hi. My name is Abeer and I live in the Middle East. I am 21 years old, 163 cm H., and 50 kg W,. Recently, I am experiencing a quick heartbeat sometimes and I am very anxious now. I become dizzy and breathe less. I don t know what s happening to me. I have noticed that after drinking coffee and tea, I get this abnormal heartbeat. I think I don t have any heart problems. But I guess I should mention that my nose got broken and now it is not straight. I checked with a doctor and he said I need an operation. Is this all relating to the quick heartbeat and breathing problems?! What is happening to me? Thank you very much!

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

No, it's palpitations because of the caffeine in tea and coffee.

Avoid it! Or limit it if you cannot avoid it. It's not related to the nose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Asiya Zaidi,
