Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

You seem to be suffering from excessive anxiety. The raised heart beat is also due to anxiety. These symptoms do not appear to be due to smoking. In my opinion, you are either of an anxious nature or are suffering from an anxiety disorder. Anxiety disorders can be treated with medications like SSRIs (sertraline, escitalopram etc). You can also practice relaxation exercises for added benefit. Try to quit smoking or at least cut down as much as possible. Smoking will just add to your problems.

Best wishes.
