Hi,
Home pregnancy tests can read well 3-7 days after the missed period. If inconclusive, you can opt for the assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres for a better clarification. Nausea is not a definite symptom of early pregnancy; it can occur with hormone imbalance as well. Hence, in the current scenario, I would suggest a proper clinical evaluation followed by the blood test and if negative, a trans-vaginal sonogram followed by hormone assessment should be done to plan further management. Hope this helps.
