Can One Get VD On Using An Electric Razor?

hello I ve been having a problem the past two days. I had noticed yesterday morning that my right outer labia was sore. When I took a look it had seemed to be quite swollen and red with little pin head size bumps or what look like clear blisters and look like they have fluid in them. The area is about the size of a nickel. Now today I noticed it is starting to burn and really itch and the area seems to be getting a bit larger along with the blisters getting a bit larger also. I have had the same sexual partner for 4 years now and I have only been his partner for the past 4 years also. There is one thing that I am concerned about, I had used my sisters small battery operated razor for bikini hair and such. In the past she has had genital warts but was over 10 years ago. Not sure if there is something she has not told me about but she has had quite a few partners. Is it possible that I could get a vd from sharing an electric razor and Is this a common thing that woman get if not vd?

Thank you for query with the description given it may be due to folliculitis.it may be due to ingrowing hair causing it.sharing of razors can cause STDs but here it is unlikely as the morphology described is does not appear to be due to STD.please use topical antibiotics like fucidin or silverex daily till it subsides. You wear loose cotton clothes.see that there is no friction or irritation. You can use analgesics like brufen if needed. Consult doctor if does not subside else You can get back directly to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist.
