Can One Get The Heb B And C Virus After The Blood Test?

I had gotten a blood test last year and everything came back fine. recently i have just had blood work and my liver enzymes are up. They are testing me again as well for heb b and c. if i was fine a year ago could i have still had heb b and c or would i have had to get the heb b and c virus after the blood test???? hope to hear soon thank-you for responding

To answer your question yes one can get infection after blood test it is possible but chances are very very less.

After going through the available details it seems that your liver enzymes are raised and they are searching for cause of rise of liver enzymes.

There are other causes of rise in liver enzymes apart from viral infection like alcohol, drugs, and fatty liver etc.

If there is any history of possible exposure to such virus it is possible that you may have infected after the blood test, if any viral infection is detected.

Please wait for result of tests to come and then appropriate action can be taken
