Can One Have Regular Menses Cycle, Post Uterus Cauterization?

hello I was advised that I will require my Uterus to be Cauterizied, I was wondering if I will have a regular menstral cycle thereafter, along with will I go through an immediate change into my menapause if so how can I help myself and is there medicine I should be taking or a vitamin?
