Can One Undergo Dialysis During The Last Stage Of Liver Cirrhosis?

My brother is in the last stage of cirrhosis and the bilirubin is very high so the doctors here are suggesting hemodialydis but his platelets are very low as in 280000count . Is it adivisable to go the dialysis if the platelets come up as we giving him platelet transfusion

hi. suggestion of dialysis is advisable as your doctor already explain to you. it is necessary to reduce billirubin level .. higher level may cause neuronal damage. and 280000 platelet is of normal range. if platelets are low then it will be increase by platelet transfusion.
so go for hemodyalysis..
