Can Ovarian Cyst Cause Missed Periods After Dilation And Curettage?

7 weeks since I had a d&c for missed miscarriage. Haven t gotten a period yet and had spotting of mostly brown blood during that time. Had ultrasound and doctor said my endometrial lining was heterogenous and thick - 16mm. I have multiple small fibroids and an ovarian cyst. She strongly suggests that I get a d&c and hysteroscopy now. Is this necessary or can I wait until I get my period. The spotting has finally stopped and my hcg llevel is at less than 5 (2 to be exact) indicating negative pregnancy.

for your delayed period nothing of your findings are related. ovarin cyst has nothing to do. fibroid uteruscan cause bleeding disorderhysteroscopy is for diagnostic purpose. consult gynecologist further treatment for fibroid uterus.
