Can Ovulation Predictor Kit Be Used When Having PCOS?

Hi there I was just wondering my husband and I are trying to conceive our second child. I have Pcos but am seeing a naturopath and since seeing the naturopath my cycles are regular. My question is can I use a ovulation predictor kit even if I have pcos but have regular monthly cycles because I am unaware when I ovulate? thanks for your help

Hi,

Ovulation kit can be used even during PCOS treatment. Ovulation detecting power will not be affected by PCOS. Hence, you can use your kit to detect ovulation. Anovulation should be corrected with hormonal contraceptives and ovulation inducing drugs which will increase the chance of pregnancy. Fertility drugs and myoinositol, folic acid supplements should also be taken to improve your reproductive health.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
