Can Pain In The Lower Abdomen Be An Indication Of An Ovarian Problem?

I have been having pain in my lower right abdomen. This has a pain that shoots from the back to front or vice versa. It only bothers me when I try to sleep and I cannot sleep on my right side. I thought it was the sciatica and went to a chiropractor with no results. I have had a cat scan and my doctor said he saw no problem with my organs. Could I have a problem with my ovaries or fallopian tube? I can't get a night sleep.
