Can Palpitations And Consuming Thyronorm Be Related?
I have pull on my right side of my neck. Also I have giddiness, which could not be diagnosed till date. I do not understand whether I am not able to explain my problem clearly or not.
Once I had positional imbalance once. The CT Scan showed normal. But this was done 10 years ago. Suddenly I feel giddy & I feel like catching my night side of my neck. I get palpitation too. By the way I take thyronorm 75 mg.
Due to the above I have lack of confidence; I need to depend on another person always.
I have read your question completely and understand your concerns.
I understand you are taking Thyronorm. If the dose of Thyronorm is high for you, it could cause an over abundance of Thyroid hormones in your body and cause thyrotoxicosis. Palpitations are a symptom of thyrotoxicosis.
The best way to rule out if Thyronorm is the culprit or not is by checking your TSH, T3 and T4 levels. If they are in normal range, then Thyronorm is not the causative factor for your palpitation.
Do you feel giddy only when you have the palpitations or even otherwise? I would advise you to see a cardiologist so that you could have a complete evaluation of your symptoms.
I hope this answer has helped you.
Thank you.
