Can Papaya Leaf Tea Be Taken With Eltroxin?
My mother is undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer after her surgery. She is having a low platelet count. I came to know that papaya leaf tea increases platelet count and also good during chemo. My mother is hypothyroid and had thyroiditis a year back. She is taking eltroxin for several years now. can she take papaya leaf tea without having any interactions with eltroxin?

ELTROXIN TABLET IS ALWAYS TO BE TAKEN ON EMPTY STOMACH IN THE MORNING AND NOT TO EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES AFTER TAKING TABLET.
SO PAPAYA LEAF TEA PER SE WILL NOT HAVE INTERACTIONS WITH ELTROXIN PROVIDED YOU KEEP A GAP OF AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BETWEEN THEM.
