I had my partials put in last Friday and Saturday i woke with a sore throat and cough the cough is not constant ..It has now been 3 day and it still here I do not feel sick..Its not the kind of sore throat that hurts when i swallow more like if your coughing a lot and your throat begins to hurt a burn..And I m not able to say more then a few sentences before it hurts so bad i have to stop..
As this is the initial stage of infection so it can be cured by home remedies. I would suggest you following things: > Take hot water in a cup, add 1 table spoon salt & perform gargles (mouth wash) with it thrice a day for 3-4 days. It will give soothing effect and improve the symptoms. > In case of fever or pain you can use acetaminophen. > Diphenhydramine + Dextromethorphan for cough
