Can Patient With Severe Penicillin Allergy Safely Take Levaquin For An Infection?

I was given levaquin for an infection where i had stitches in my hand. I accidentily stabbed myself which required 5 stitches, however the wound was not irrigated at the ER and 5 days later it is now infected. My question is, if I am severely allergic to PCN can i safely take this antibiotic?
