Can People With HAE Type III Have More Than One Child?

Hello, i believe i have HAE type 3, last year when i became pregnant i started to get a rash 2 weeks before i realized i had become pregnant, it continued throughout my pregnancy and since i had my daughter in april, i has become worse, My question is, can i have more children if i have hae type 3

Hi,

HAE type 3 is characterized by recurrent episodes of swelling of the skin and mucous, can also affect the gastrointestinal tract and upper airways in a severe way. This symptom does not respond to antihistamines, corticosteroids or adrenaline and usually disappear spontaneously within 12-72 hours. I don't think you have HAE type 3 just because you had a rash. You have to perform blood examination to to deduce the cause of you rash. It might be a food that you are became sensitized or a medication that you are using, an infectious condition or parasites.
Anyway if you have HAE type 3 you can have other children.
