Can Periods Be Shortened By Taking A Shower?

Can i shorten my period by taking a shower? I'm supossed to be going over to my friends house and i dont want to take pads with me or use the same one. So i was wondering if i can shorten it by taking 2 showers daily insted of 1. I NEED my period to be gone/vanish within 4-5 days. HELP ME!!!!
