Can Periods Recur On Stopping BC Pills After A Recent Period?

hi. i had my period last dec 24 until the 29th. I started taking my pill on the 4th day of my period until jan 4 then i stopped taking it for 2 days now and now i have my period again. is this normal? can i take my pill again even if i skipped 2 pills already? pls help. thank you so much.

Hi.

Birth control pills are advantageous with few side effects . Your symptoms like Spotting inbetween periods or breakthrough bleeding is common with these pills.

As you have missed 2 pills in a row, it's better to stop the current pills & follow another forms of control methods. Also consult your gynaecologist for help.
