Can Plan B Pills Cause Tender Breasts And Headaches?

I took the plan b pill about 2 weeks ago to be on the safe side even it was unlikely timing for me to become pregnant. I experienced slight breast pain at that time but no bleeding. Now I am experiencing sore breasts and headaches. I am assuming that my hormones are just out of whack because of the extremely high level that is ingested from the pill. Is this possible?

Hi,

Plan B or Morning after pills has side effects like stomach pain, dizziness, headache, breast pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, changes in menstrual cycle etc. The symptoms you experience are due to the pills mostly. Also your history is incomplete where you haven't mentioned about the timing of intake if plan B after the act. So I think pregnancy also should be ruled out with a HPT.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
