Can Prednisone And Ketoconazole Taken For Ringworm Rapidly Spread The Infection All Over The Body?

hi I have somehow got ringworm I went to the clinic and the Dr. prescribed me prednisone and ketoconazole within 15 days my issue spread all over my chest and spot across my arms and face I was reading about prednisone online and read it saying not to take prednisone if you have any fungus running in your body. im now wondering, is this why it has spread so rapidly? Thank you for the query with HCM,
I had gone through your query and understand your concerns.
I see similar cases who visit my clinic.For patient with ringworm infection combination of ketconazole and steroid will be given to apply over the rashes. Steroid helps to reduce the swelling,pain and erythema but it should used only for first 7 days then it is advised to apply only ketaconazole.
