Can Pregnancy Cause Delay In Periods Along With Tender Breast?

Hello, i had a quick question, My husband and I have been trying to concieve, My periods the past 6 monhts have been 32 days with one month being 31 and one month being 33. My period was due on Sunday (Jan 1st)- I have had brown spotting only when i go to the bathroom, nothing to every wear a pad or anything and my period still hasn't come. My breasts are tender here and there. I took a home pregnancy test on Tuesday and it was Negative. Any thoughts?

There are chances of you being pregnant inspite of negative pregnancy test.Home pregnancy tests are based on the HCG-Human chorionic gonadotropin levels that rises as soon as you become pregnant.It has to reach a definitive level for pregnancy tests to be positive.

It will show negative results only if you are still in early pregnancy.So,i would suggest you to take one more home pregnancy test after about 10 days to confirm.
