Pregnancy symptoms can vary widely between women, and many of the symptoms that are associated with pregnancy, like fatigue, headaches, bloating and spotting can also occur with an irregular period.
The most common sign of pregnancy is a missed menstrual period.
So if you just had your period, and your pregnancy test is negative, then you are not pregnant.
It is not possible to have a pregnancy test only become positive at three months, because the developing pregnancy is what produces the hormone in the first place. So you cannot have a growing fetus without a positive pregnancy test.
I hope I was able to answer your question today and that this information clarifies things for you.
Best wishes,
Dr. Brown
