Can Presence Of 2 Tampoons For 6 Hrs Together Cause Diarrhea, Dizziness, Chillness?

Okay so this morning I put in a regular tampon and went to school but at lunch I accidentally didn't take it out, and also put in a super tampon. They stayed in for about 6 hours then in came home and I started feeling really tired. I realized I had 2 tampons in, took them out immediately, but I am not feeling well. I had a little bit of diahrea and my stomach is not great. I am dizzy and I don't know if I have a fever. I have chills too. Is this just the cold I am getting over or do I have TSS?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The diarrhea could be due to either medications you are taking to treat the infection you have (if you are taking any) or due to irritation of your colon which lies in close proximity from your uterus.

But as TSS is a complication associated with tampon use especially when left in for long periods of time,I would advise you to visit your doctor at the earliest.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
