Can Previous Fracture In Leg Lead To Curvature In Spine?

when i was 3 (i am 36 now) i had my leg in traction for 6 weeks. recently my doctor noticed a curve in my spine and has reccommended physio. i was just wondering if my broken leg years ago may have affected this ailment? one leg is shorter than the other thanx
