Hi,
I understand your concern
*Thyroxine is a thyroid hormone suppliment given to substitute
low thyroid function. In pregnancy, thyroxin has a vital role in physical/intellectual growth of fetus- so you have not only to continue it in pregnancy but also assess
thyroid function tests in between & consult your gynecologist/
endocrinologist for it's appropriate supply to fetus.
* Amilodipine is for controlling high blood pressure- You have to continue it in pregnancy. doctor may advise to alteration in dosage if needful.
- Amilodipine is not known to cause any unwanted side effects on fetus.
- You also need to have regular check up of your blood pressure, and be sure of normal readings-
-Urine examination should be done monthly to exclude albumin in urine.
*Progesterone injection &
Duphaston are given to you for supplementing
progesterone deficiency -. It supports fetal growth/ maintenance of pregnancy.Usually it's needed till placenta is formed/ takes over production of hormone progesterone.
You should take all three medicines as advised by your doctor.
Thanks.
