Can Pronating The Feet Cause Femoral Internal Rotation?
Why does pronating your feet cause tibial/femoral internal rotation? If your foot is turning outward, wouldn t it make more sense for your tibia and femur to turn outward as well? Or are my facts wrong all together? Based on the research I ve performed, I ve come to the conclusion that foot pronation = tibial/femoral internal rotation, but I may be wrong so I d like to verify with a professional just in case.

Hi,
Pronation of foot is the foot movement while someone land food on the floor. It does not cause internal rotation of the femur.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
