Can Quadtab Medicine Be Taken For Discomfort In Breathing?

i was diagnosed of PTB and was given quadtab in 2 months,but i didnt continue the 2 months and i felt something is wrong again,so i decided to take quadtab again and its almost 4 months taken.i havent visit my physician yet coz of lack of money.what did i do is i just take continuosly the medication till now.should i stop it or continue?i felt something is wrong with my breathing.pls help me.i am afraid.

Quadtab a combination of rifampicin+ethambutol+ isoniazide+ pyrazinamide.
This is a most successful and effective regime for tuberculosis treatment and this intensive treatment is advised in patient who have weight > 50 kg ( 2 tab).
Since you mentioned that you didn't completed the course stipulated by your doctor for stipulated period . This was a great mistake in my opinion. As I have seen in my clinic that usually a tubercular patient stops the treatment on this or that pretext .
Now you are also having breathlessness and other tubercular symptoms according to you.
When such patient visit in my clinic I advise them to have Xray chest ( for fresh leasion in lungs) , blood for C B C & ES R . Sputum examination for A F B.
Now don't start this treatment at once rather consult your treating physician and get his opinion. Once again I advise you don't stop this treatment without the consent of doctor.
Hope you will understand the gravity of situation .
