Can Radiation Pass Through Semen And Cause Problems During Pregnancy?

I am 36 weeks pregnant and my husband is having a bone scan today(not for cancer or anything serious but for an old sports injury). Will the radiation from the scan pass through his semen to myself during intercourse in which case affecting my baby during these last few weeks of pregnancy?

Hi
dear
I can understand your concern
usually the radioactive substance used in the scanning will be safe and will be having very short half life
with out knowing what kind of radio isotope used its very difficult to comment on this issue
I suggest you to upload the scan report for further discussion
