Can Rash Caused By Shingles Under The Breast Grow Internally?

Been diagnosed with shingles, the rash is small located right under the area of my breasts. The rash has not spread. is it possible that the rash that you usually see on a large portion of a person s body could be spreading internally? The rash is about the size of the top part of my middle finger.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The shingles is a superficial one and it will not spread underneath the skin does not cause any internal problems. It is a self-limiting one and will settle in few days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
