Can Recurring Quinsy In Throat Cause Heart Or Lung Problems?
Hi, I have had quinsy several times (5 or 6) and doctors didn t know what is was. I took medication and gargles but it ended in running it s course. The last time i had it, a clinic doctor said oh it s quinsy . He said he s only seen it once before. He took a needle and drained it right there. I felt better immedietly once the presure was gone. Sent me home with a prescription and everything was great. My question, the many times i ve had it and it s run it s course (usually taking a few weeks to clear up), could this have effect on my health in the future like heart trouble and breathing difficulty. Is it possible for it to have almost reached my heart but not quite before it went away leaving scars for a later problem like a heart attack?
