Can Regular Contraceptive Pill Be Taken Along With Plan-B?

Hello, I m currently on chateal birth control. Only 3 months now. I took plan B earlier today and I m not sure what to do from here. Am I able to take my regular birth control pill at regular time today, or am I to wait until tomorrow and just take today and tomorrow s pill, tomorrow? I m still kind of new to knowing these kind of things.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
As you already on the birth control pills then no need of Plan B pill as you are already protective.
But you already took Plan b PILL, I suggest you to take your birth control pill regularly. Do not skip your regular contraceptive pill.
But remember, there may be high chance of hormonal imbalance and menstrual irregularity. But if period will delay in the future or become irregular then consult the gynaecologist for proper management.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
