Can Removal Of Implantation Bleed Or Spot Can Be Start Of The Cycle?

I had implanon put in 9/27/11 and had it removed on 8/27/12. Since then I cramped on my right side only and spotted. Both only lasted an hour or so. My breasts are tender also. I took antibiotics from 8/15 to 8/25 (prior to removal) & have engaged in unprotected sex with my spouse. Could this be implantation bleeding or is it my cycle trying to start?

Hello,

The symptoms could be premenstrual. If you do not get your period in the next few days, take a home pregnancy test.

Hope this answers your question
