Can Round Seeping Sore In Upper Half Of Ear Be Ringworm Or Cancer?

I have a round seeping sore in the upper half of my ear. It has been there for two months starting as a tiny scaly growth. When picked, it bled. It is now 1/2 in diameter with raised ridge circling the scabby 3/8 diameter center. Can this be ringworm ? Or is it cancer? I have a picture available.
