Can Routine Dental Treatment Cause Mini Strokes And Anemia?

I have relative who has a genetically related anemia. she recentally had such a severe nose bleed that she had to be hospitalized and transfused. this happened 1 week ago. yesterday she was admitted to the hospital with symptoms of mini- strokes. The Dr. told her it may be from a blood clot. He then told her this may relate to recent dental work. The only dental work she had was a routine scaling and a filling 5-6 weeks ago. Is there any possibility that any of the recent medical issues could in any way relate to such routine dental treatment?
