Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Use a gentle cleanser for face wash e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion rather than using a soap/face wash.

If I was your treating doctor I would have asked you to use a topical antiacne gel like either clindamycin or benzoyl peroxide gel once or twice daily.

A topical retinoid e,g adapalene or tretinoin or azaleic acid should be used once daily at night. They not only exfoliates existing acne but also prevents formation of new comedones/ comedogenesis. Topical retinoids work for pigmentation as well.

Other skin lightening ingredients that are effective and can be tried for post acne hyperpigmentation are kojic acid, glycolic acid, hydroquinone etc. You can use one of these under the supervision of a dermatologist, once your acne is under control

regards
