Can Severe Cramps And Passing Clots Suggest A Miscarriage?

Hi , I was supposed to get my period this past sunday, and I was 2 days late. I got cramps tues afternoon and then had some light bleeding. I took some midol for he cramps and was fine for the rest of the night until about 10:30 pm i started cramoing again and it just got worse. It was the worst pain i have ever felt in my life. I passed a clot but just one, and the cramps were so bad i passed out and woke up hours later with no pain....sis i have a miscarriage?
