Can Sinus Drainage Cause Chest Discomfort Or Pain?

Can sinus drainage alone cause chest discomfort or pain. I had costochondritis last month due to virus and infection. It went away and then the chest pain started coming again on and off, but the only thing i can think of that could cause this is the drainage from my nose at night when i sleep. is that possible?

Dear I read your query and reviewed it with context to your query facts.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Post-nasal drip from Sinusitis with Chest infection/Bronchitis.

Subdued reflexes during sleep lead to cause bronchitis and chest congestion when accompanied with post-nasal drip with Sinusitis and is of very common occurrence.
Check with Sinus X-rays and treat the Rhinitis with Allegra and Nasalcrom(Cromolyn) nasal spray / and intranasal spary would reduce this complication in resistant type of sinusitis with allergic triggers.
Allergy Shots-inj for immunotherapy are also a good option to contoll this complication.
