Can Sinus Infections Cause Ear And Throat Pain?

I went to the doctor today & my family doctor said I had a sinus infection well my throat & left ear hurts like bad pain I m crying with it! All he gave me was cough medicine what can I take for the pain & would a sinus infection cause your left ear to hurt and throat

Yes , a sinus infection can cause ear and throat pain and i dont think cough syrup is the solution for it. please meet an ent doctor , who will confirm this and prescribe antibiotics for curing your infection.please dont delay.
