I woke up with a lump on the right side of my neck this morning. It is a little over 2 cm, sore when touched, doesn t move, and situated 3 cm under my right ear under my jaw bone. I have little bit of sinusitis at the moment, but also had a very stressful week. I have a lot of muscle spasms in my shoulders and left arm and hand goes numb when under stress. I am a 29yr old female. Any advice?

Hello,

You are having a lump on the right side on the neck. You have sinusitis & are also experiencing numbness in the arms and muscle spasms in the left side. Cold and sinusitis may cause a lump on the neck. You had a stressful week. You can take a course of antibiotics (Doxycycline-100mg) along with chymoral forte (Trypsin Chymotrypsin) to reduce swelling & inflammation and to prevent infection from getting worse.

Gargle your throat with a pinch of salt in warm water 2-3 times a day. You can take acetaminophen, one stat when needed after food to get rid of pain and discomfort. Take liquid or semi solid diet for a couple of days so that you don't hurt. Take adequate quantity of water and fluids to stay comfortable. However, numbness and discomfort in the left arm may be indicative of developing coronary artery disease, CAD.

You should get yourself clinically examined and get cardiac function tests, lipid function tests and required imaging tests done to detect any heart ailment. You will be accordingly treated and managed. Avoid stress (both physical and emotional). Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
