Can Skin Rash Be Related To Eczema?

My daughter all of a sudden developed a rash (itchy, red, raised welts). It started on knees, moved up to stomach, elbows, back of hands, now under chin/cheek. No other complaints, but just weird rash of uko. It disappears as it moves up. Has eczema usually behind knees, but does not look like that.

Hi,

Your daughter may be having atopic dermatitis. It is a disease in which skin allergy occurs to variety of allergens. There may be atopic diathesis.There may be genetic influence. You consult dermatologist to have perfect diagnosis and regular perfect treatment.

Antihistaminics like hydroxyzine or levocetirizine may be considered. Steroid in tappering roses may be given for few weeks. Tacrolimus oint 0.03% may be applied twice a day on the lesions. And avoid the contact of suspected allergens...like Nuts,sea food,eggs, cows milk and it's product. Avoid contact with soap,dust,house dust might,wool clothes...etc? I hope you got my answer.
