Can Skipping Thyroid Medication Cause Longer Periods?

Hi I been having periods longer than 7 days now it s not heavy first it started with spotting then normal periods and now it s 8 days now and total 2 weeks almost.I take thyroid medicine and I been sick and stressed out too.I skipped thyroid medicine for like 2-3 days and I lost weight too. Is that a reason for it?Please let me know as soon as you can.Thanks.Medeeha

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the irregular menses then it could be due to change in hormone level and thyroid may be the another cause, if you have skipped the dose of medicine for couple of days then it is okay but it should not be happen again and again, you can start the medicine again accordingly with no mistake hope this information helps.
