Can Sleeping Pills Be Used As Substitute Of Alcohol?

Hi my doctor told me I have IGT after my undergoing a recent test. I had already made some changesby starting walking most days a week. One of thebiggestfactors I have is needing to give up alcohol, I can t just cutdown. I have 3 to 4bottles of spakling white wine a week. I am an alcoholic. My dr prescribed sleeping tabs to help mecut down . How will thes actually help me?

It may help you or you may transfer one addiction to another (dependent on the sleeping tablets instead).

It would be best to seek counselling either singly or with a group such as AA that is well established to help persons with alcohol abuse.
In addition it would be best to get your family and friends involved as well.

Avoid any triggers that cause you to drink.
