Hi I am 21 years old, I have this non raised red dot on the head of my penis that is shiny in the light and underneath the small red dot is this non raised small red patch like thing. . No itching, no pain, no puss nothing. I am stressing that it might be penile cancer. Went to see a doctor he said he doesn t know what it is. Could it be cancer?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The raised small, painless red dots on your penis sound to be more likely from possible fungal infection, herpes or else ; but absolutely not related to cancer.

* As the cancer of penis is uncommon at this age, present as chronic non healing deep penetrating ulcer over shaft of penis in most cases.

However, if you can share a photo pic of the penis showing the lesion if you are comfortable with the same, I would like to assist further in this regard for sure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
