Can Smoking Be The Reason Behind Prominent Broncho Vascular Markings And What Could Be The Treatment?

Hi, my xray report showing prominent broncho vascular markings. I used to smoke earlier but last I quit 6 months back. is smoking is the reason for this markings. how can I cure this. how the markings will disappear. please help me on this. Also is this markings checked by Dr s when a person going for pre employement medical test.

yES SMOKING CAN BE A REASON FOR PROMINENT BRONCHOVASCCULAR MARKINGS AS IT CAUSES CHRONIC BRONCCHITIS. THE BEST WAY TO GET THIS NORMAL IS TO STOP SMOKING AND THINGS WOULD BE REVERSIBLE AT THIS STAGE
