Hi there, i am a smoker and lately have the same black phlegm cough i have heard people talking about, this has been there for a while, but now it is getting worse i am always phlegmy and have a pain in my left shoulder, which i read somewhere meant something bad, do you have any idea what it all is
Smoking can lead to Lung infection which in-turn presents as cough with expectoration & back pain . Also smoking can lead to gastritis which can also have referred pain in the left shoulder.
I suggest you to kindly consider seriously about continuing smoking ....
