Can Smoking Marijuana As An Appetite Stimulant Harm The Kidneys?
My wife suffered kidney failure a year ago with creatinine peaking at 5.3. She was on dialysis for 3 months. Since then her appetite has been steadily decreasing. Now she hardly eats anything. She has lost about 80 pounds. Will smoking Marijuana as an appetite stimulant harm her kidneys? Her creatinine level is now down to 1.3. Her nephrologist has told her that her total kidney function is roughly 33% of normal.

She must be depressed and loss of appetite may be because of her concerns for kidney function deterioration a psychological but natural phenomenona She may in some type of shock try to manage her psychological statis and that will give her strength to survive and eat
